The sports hall is now open to the public, if you wish to run an activity in the sports hall then please ring the office on 074 93 81054 to find out what days and times are available.  The gym is also open to the public.  If you are not a member of this gym then you will have to have an induction.  To book an induction you can contact the office on the number printed above and they will give you numbers of instructors who will carry out the inductions.

We are holding a second Indoor Car Boot Sale on April 14th 2012 from 11am – 3pm. If anyone wishes to book a seller’s table contact the Community Centre.

“Boxercise classes are coming to Greencastle, starting Monday 4th July!! If you want to lose weight, tone and scuplt your body, improve your fitness levels, decrease your stress levels and have some fun whilst doing it….yeah….then this is the class for you. Boxercise is a non-contact exercise class which involves a lot of exercises boxers would do, but without getting hit!! The only thing you punch is focus pads! This workout is suitable for all fitness levels and age groups (16-60plus). These classes are very popular because the results are seen very quickly. Female Instructor.
The classes will be a first come first served basis and they will be held at Greencastle Community Centre, every Monday, 5-6pm. 6 eruo per class. All equipment is supplied, all you need is water, a mat or big towel. More info @ 086 3238437.”

Greencastle Badminton Club is back!!!

This time with top Coach ‘Liam Sweeney’

People can still turn up and play but will also be available to avail of top coaching help and tips. The Night will simply have more structure and if the interest is there, there may be chances to develop a Team and host and enter Tournaments with other local Clubs in the area.
